AmCham Shanghai's Trade & Investment Center cordially invites you to join us for an event on Nov. 7th from 2:00-4:00 pm at the AmCham Shanghai Conference Center. Representatives from the Anhui Ma'anshan Economic and Technological Development Zone will share their insights on potential investment opportunities and elaborate on the existing preferential policies for companies in the region. Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with government officials and industry park leaders about the region's current investment policies.
Ma'anshan Economic and Technological Development Zone was established in 1995 and was upgraded to a national economic and technological development zone in 2010. It is located at the intersection of the two major economic zones, the coastal area and the Yangtze River. It is the eastern gate of Anhui Province's opening door to the outside world. It is also a connecting city between the developed region and the central region. It owns not only various basic conditions which apply in the eastern region, but also preferential policies which are only for the central region.
The park currently has three leading industries: green food processing from Mengniu Dairy, Yurun Food, Dali food and Haidilao Group; automobile and auto parts manufacturing operated by several companies including XINGMA and CAMC; and the high-end equipment manufacturing industry operated by companies including Ma steel rail, Ma steel heavy machinery and Keda Electromechanical. Other industries that show developmental potential in the zone include the electronic information industry from the firms FOXLINK , Konka and EPITOP; the energy saving and environmental protection industry, with companies like KEDA and Xin Chuang and the new energy vehicle industry from CAMC and GOTION.
