This half-day course is the introduction to the COACHING FUNDAMENTALS program. Managers, leaders, HR practitioners are welcomed to attend the session where we will learn about coaching.

Coaching is critical for human development, growth and performance. It has been scientifically proven that organizations that effectively prepare managers to coach are 130% more likely to achieve stronger business results and have 39% stronger employee results through engagement, productivity and customer service.

"Unlocking a person's potential to maximise their own performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them" (Whitmore, 2009) or "a collaborative, solution-focused, results-oriented and systematic process in which the coach facilities the enhancement of work performance, life experience, self-directed learning and personal growth of the coachee" (Grant, 1999) are most commonly used definitions of coaching.

Coaching draws from many disciplines and shares several approaches to working with people. Moreover, the term "coaching" is often used to describe a wide range of interventions ranging from one-to-one learning, to counselling, to even just talking.

Moreover, a "life coach" is not someone who was trained by life, and a "Business coach" is not someone who was trained by business. One needs to meet specific requirements to be considered as a coach that refer to their mindset, skills and tools. Not everyone can be a coach!
