In the upcoming session of the Understanding Trade Compliance Laws, we will focus on current issues concerning most Multi-National Companies amid the U.S. - China Trade tension, particularly in relation to international trade compliance.

Christine Xu, the APAC Counsel for the Hydraulics and Aerospace Groups at Eaton will discuss US Sanction law and its exterritorial applications (Long Arm Jurisdiction), the U.S. list of Embargoed Countries, some recent cases including the Huawei case, and a roundtable discussion among the groups. The session will provide an opportunity for in-house Legal and Compliance professionals to learn about the recent developments and trends in the regulatory and legal landscape, government enforcement, and corporate compliance risks in these areas.
